This is a VERY NICE 1999 Ford Explorer 4 Door V6 4.0 engine. The miles are a little high in this truck, however it resembles the energizer bunny and goes and goes and never gives up. Drove is some last winter, a little over the summer, and I haven't touched it for the past 2 months. I have owned it for 3 1/2 years, and the previous owner to me was a person freind of mine who had it for about 4 years herself. The tittle is marked salvage rebuilt, however the auto simply slid into a fence about 6 or 7 years ago when my freind owned it. The only damage was to the skin and cosmetic. The tittle change was an error due to the insurance company she had and she was unable to change it back. There is a tiny spot of rust on the rear wheel well and some under the rear hatch (which can not be seen unless you open the door), however other than that the body is clean. The truck does have a clean tittle (a lien), I just have not updated the tittle. It will be done prior to final sale of SUV-no worries. These are the updates on this truck within the past year! Truck has brand new tires all the way around it! Less than 2000 miles on them! Battery is less than a year old Brakes done last spring New ball joints & bearings within the past year Oil chnage done aproximatley a month ago New wipers These are the things that the truck could use...however does not hinder it's performance at this time- A new serpentine belt a tack weld on the catitic convertor (the truck runs a little loud and has a small crack between the pipe and converter) new plugs and wires. air conditioner could be re-charged Overall the truck is a great little runner. It has never let me down and has gotten me out of feet of snow! The 4 wheel drive in this is amazing- all power windows, seats, locks, ect work fine! Stereo and CD/tape player work great and there are no tearsor rips in the seats. With a few minor adjustments this truck will easily run another 100,000 miles I am sure!
