1997 Porsche 911 Targa with only 29,994 original miles. 6 Speed manual transmission. White over gray leather interior. This car has never been in any accidents nor does it have any paintwork whatsoever. It is all original and with no performance modifications, 100% stock. Options from Porsche includes the motor sound package which really gives the car a "european sound" when accelerating through the gears. It has the correct 17" signature Targa wheels and brand new Continental tires all the way around (less than 100 miles). It has an aftermarket Pioneer stereo system with in-dash CD player along with a Boston Acoustic amplifier & upgraded speakers that really deliver the sound nicely. This is truly an exceptional car. She has gone through a complete service and inspection at the local Porsche dealer. Any maintenance issues were addressed and the car is in excellent condition both cosmetically and mechanically. The only concern that was brought to my attention was a very minor oil leak at the top of cylinder #1 but I was told that it was not an issue to keep driving the car and could be optional whether or not it needed to be fixed. I am extremely anal as to how I keep my cars so I might decide to just go ahead and fix it but the car is being represented as having that minor leak for the purpose of this auction and will be sold as such. The only reason I am now selling this one of a kind 911 is that I have been fortunate enough to acquire a 2001 996TT with only 8k miles which will replace this 993 Targa. Otherwise, I would just park this car and keep it forever. I welcome any and all inquiries and requests for a pre-purchase inspection. You will not be disappointed.
