Vehicle Detail
Car is in great shape for its age. Looks and drives almost like a new car, everything works no check engine lights. Has a 6 disk cd player in the arm rest! Great MPG. Recently rebuilt engine 17k miles ago, block professionally machined and rebuilt using all new german parts, new pistons, bearings, oil pump everything. Head rebuilt new Cam, lifters etc, T-belt and all parts with it changed, water pump etc, most the sensors were also replaced. New tires, new battery, alignment, tranny serviced and flushed when engine was changed. Car runs great, tranny shifts smooth, rides great and straight. Only issues are a small dent/ding on the pass side bottom rocker panel and a small tear starting to form in the drivers seat.(my wife took a needle and thread to it so its not getting any worse.) I was going to have the dent fixed but never got around to it, I have got estimates for it and its only $300-$400 to have it pulled out and touched up. There are also a few small paint chips on hood that have been touched up but you get that on any car from small rocks on road. Car still looks good up close or far away. I bought this car for my wife and put over $5,000 into engine and other work on it this year alone. She then wanted a 4 door car, I recently bought a TDI Golf so I am now selling the Beetle. I own 3 TDI's and these are great cars they run forever if you take good care of them. It's a good car I would drive this anywhere and with no worries. I also have 3 keys for this car(keys are not cheap) 2 remotes and 1 normal key. I have the orginal window sticker and book that came with the car. I bought it from the 1st owner he took very good care of the car and I have all the receipts from day 1. I also have pictures and records of everything I had done to the car. You could buy a simular car cheaper but I bet your going to spend more in the long run if you do. With this car you know what you are getting and it won't need a T-belt done till it hits 214,000 miles or 5 years from now which ever comes first. T-belt jobs alone cost over $1,000 so you need to think about stuff like that when your buying a car with an overhead cam. 2003 was the best year for these cars, last year of the ALH engine which has less issues then the more recent ones. Also has the better cup holders! The KBB retail value of this car is $8780, and private party is $7005 I am going to list it for $6700 priced for a quick sale, and taking off $300 for the small dent. Anyone interested can send me an email if you want to come look at it or have an inspection done. Title is clear and there are no lien holders. I only take cash for cars, no checks. I won't ship this car overseas. The accident it shows in the report is the little dent on the rocker shown in picture. The 1st owner told me about it, wasn't with another car or anything just damage there which was reported to his insurance, he just never had it fixed. You will see dents like this on a lot of beeltes, my other beetle has a dent in the same place but its worse. Car also has tinted windows, done by the dealer, its very nice on sunny days.
