This old 1965 Ford pickup is ready for a new home. The truck looks to have been well cared for over the years. The truck is running, driving, with a clear California title. It is a true survivor and these are getting hard to find untouched. This generation of Ford truck spanned from 1961 to 1966. The truck features a Ford 352ci FE Big Block V8 and the original automatic transmission with shifter on the column. The engine fires right up and runs very well. The truck has no trouble maintaining freeway speeds. It smokes a little if it not driven every day but with regular use it does not. The body of this old truck is very straight. No evidence of major dents, bondo, or accidents. The paint looks as it may the original paint job. It has oxidation but it can be rubbed out to shine as you can see in the photos. Floors, cab corners, the bed show no signs of rust through/rot. YES is does have surface rust here and there but i can find no rust through anywhere. The bed is VERY clean, looks almost un-used. SEE PICS The cockpit still retains its original bench seat. The original dash is uncut and the factory instruments are still present with factory accessory gauges as well. In addition the interior has many extra trim pieces due being a custom cab. The truck's electrical system is in working order. The charging system, headlights, taillights, turn signals, and brake lights, heater, and windshield wipers are all working. The horn is not currently working. The seat has its original covering and it is starting to split in several places. The truck's glass in good shape, the side windows roll up and down freely. The truck still retains its original 15 inch steel wheels and hub caps (not pictured). The tires hold air but are older and should be replaced if any serious driving is to be done. The truck still has it's black and yellow Folsom State Prison made California license plate. It also has the front plate but it is not mounted and it has faded. Overall this truck is good restoration candidate as it is so original. OR leave it as is and just enjoy this old survivor. The odometer reads about 99k. It is not know if this is the actual mileage or not. The truck is sold where-is as-is no warranty expressed or implied. Shipping and shipping costs are the buyers responsibility.
