1974 Montesa VR 250 I have again started a shop restoring vintage sports cars and vintage bikes : Somethings have to go I had restored this bike to race locally in CRA and also ran in national AHRMA years back before I had children The motor had been gone over and the bore still looks great with out any scuffing I pulled it from storage, cleaned it, oiled and lubed as needed to prep it to sell The head is a dual plug Magura levers, Magura side pull throttle, Terry cables Bing 54 carb in a 32mm, fresh rebuild with new gaskets and o-rings Seat was reupholstered with x-tra pad height ( small tear at bottom of cover against seat pan VB shift lever, aluminum Reworked foot pegs to make wider with a heaver cleating Red Wing Hammer Head shocks O-Ring chain 12 front counter sprocket with a 56 tooth rear I have the air filter basket , but do not have a usable air filter Number plates are include if you like but I do not have the original The wheel bearing are good Down Side : Spokes are loose front and rear : current gas tank has a fracture on right side at the Montesa badge I will include an extra tank ( no decals and no badges ) The tank petcocks have upgraded from the original Montesa style.
