This vehicle is being sold "as is" condition. It's a 1973 vintage Volkswagen Thing, Type 181, original, yellow - a real diamond in the rough. I am the third owner, purchased it in 1986 in running condition. I drove it until 1996 and once more in 2001. The odometer reading indicates 18,893, but I'm not sure if this is correct. It may be 118,893. This would make a good project. We started to restore it, but never did. Not sure if all engine parts are there. Tires are flat and split so vehicle must be removed with flatbed truck; cannot be towed. Please email any questions before placing bid. Removal of vehicle is buyer's responsibility.
