This bike is very similar to a four wheeler, because you can go offroading and go on the highway. It is a very fun bike, you can ride on snow, sand, etc. The history of the Dnepr began in the ranks of military some 50 years ago. It was made to be agile, to be able to go places that defied the imagination and to last many years under the most unforgiving conditions. And in the years since it has proven to be a valuable asset in the military's arsenal - the unstoppable muscular breed of vehicle army had been looking for. All told, more than 1,500,000 Dneprs have been produced for the armed forces. It was only a matter of time before the Dneprs's extraordinary powers were called upon by the nonmilitary sector. I have replaced the rings with hasting rings and have installed a new clutch assembly. YOU WIL NOT FIND A BETTER DNEPR, ANYWHERE If you are considering a Dnepr, don't make the mistake I made when I bought this bike I had to rewire it replace the carbureters replace the points remove and regrind all the valves replace several spokes. The list goes on and on. This bike has had ever system gone thru and is in top notch contdtion. There are more expensive ones on Ebay, but you will have to fix them inorder to enjoy them.
