Vehicle Detail

We bought this car two years ago in the high desert outside of L.A. It has minimal rust. It's in great shape and runs perfectly, will pass CA smog no problem. We revamped the coolant system, no major changes, but a flush new lines and other goodies. We have replaced the rear struts with new old stock Gabriel's (not easy to find and would have been cheap if I did not end up buying several other wrong parts first, don't trust on-line junk yards!) the rear struts can bee one of the hardest parts to find for these cars, as I have found out, and this one has NEW old stock struts! Also when we bought it it had a power problem and did not start all the time. I remedied this buy replacing the starter with a remanufactured one, cleaned all of the ground connections that looked horrible, cleaned the battery (looks much newer than the car) and replaced the battery terminals. Checked the gas tank and fuel lines, all ok, and replaced the fuel filter. The car seemed sluggish so I paid a mechanic to adjust the valves (one of the few time I have paid some else to work on one my cars.) The transmission was dry when I got the car home so I have put fluid in it and will change it again after about 50 more miles or when you buy the car just to make sure it's nice and clean. Tires are practically new. Breaks are better than 80%. So, enough about what I have done to this beauty, lets talk about what else you get with it: The original owners manual with maintenance records up to 60k. (No maintenance records after that) Chilton's guide from the 70's. Dealer provided floor mats. You can see that the wood shifter knob with the red Honda logo on a with background is in good shape! The spare and tire change kit are both with the car and look good to go (the tire on the spare looks new but could be very old, I have not bothered to check it.) There is a little tool kit that came with car still in the glove box. I will gladly give you (the buyer) the old rear struts, the old nippon-denso starter, and a set of used front struts that were never on this car but I guess I bought them. Please feel free to ask any questions, if you need more photos, or wish to call to discuss the car.
