For unknown reasons, a previous owner failed to object to this clear clerical error and, once entered, it cannot be removed from the title (though I must admit it was never of great concern to me and I have therefore never investigated correction of the title). Obviously, the odometer in this vehicle is not limited to 5 digits (see the picture), and the full odometer history shows a clear and uninterrupted progression to the current 218,000 miles. Also, even a cursory examination of the included service records proves the mileage as stated. I am not trying to pass this off as a low mileage vehicle. Indeed, an allowance for the stated high mileage has obviously been reflected in my asking price, and it is absolutely guaranteed to be accurate.
