Vehicle Detail
1954 T110 Tiger Project / Parts Bike. What we have here is a project bike I bought 13 years ago. I started to gather some of the harder to find parts, as you can see in the photos, with the intention of building a nice Pre Unit semi-custom/restoration. Along came two kids and a complete "fixer-upper" 19th century house, and well, the rest is history. Please understand, I HAVE NOT STARTED THE BIKE IN 12 YEARS. When I ran the bike 12 years ago, it started easily and ran very strong. Gear shifts were smooth and trouble free and the motor did not burn oil. NOTE: I bought the bike as a non-driver project bike and I never had it registered or licenced. I have not started the bike and am selling it as NOT RUNNING. The motor spins freely with great compression, but I just don't have the time to properly go through her to feel good about firing her up. I am sure that she'll run with minimal fuss, but these Pre Unit bikes are harder to find all the time, and I wouldn't want to damage any internals by being hasty. The engine number is 110 53147. As you can see in the photos, the bike is missing a number of parts and there are a number of wrong vintage parts; ie...like the gas tank for instance. (Which is in great shape however). Please look at the parts that are going along with this auction. There are both nacelle legs and top, that are in great shape. One leg needs an easy weld at an existing seam. There is a headlight trim ring and a pair of flash motif trim pieces for the nacelle. Also included are the toolbox / battery carrier case, sorry, I never did get the lid, and an oil tank. Both could use some work, but both are tough to find. And then of coarse there is the correct gas tank with a mounting bracket. The tank is in excellent condition with no dents or damage at all. If you look closely you can see the Shell Blue peeking out from under the black paint. That was a great find that I paid dearly for. And lastly there is an orginal 1954 Parts Guide (very key) and an engine gasket kit (so you can get started right away). So there it is. A neat 1954 T110 Project/Parts bike that hasn't been run in 12 years, but I'm sure she will with a little love. A collection of hard to find parts, with the tank being it excellent condition. I only received a Bill of Sale, and that is all I am providing now. Please study the pictures carefully and don't hesitate to ask questions. Truely interested parties can arrange to come out and take a look if that seems necessary. There are NO WARRANTIES OR GUARANTIES WHAT-SO-EVER. This sale is for pick-up only; I'm located in Boston's South Shore area.A deposit of $500 through PayPal only,is expected within 48 hours of auction closing.
