Excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. Always garaged since new. Comes with tool kit, hard bags and rear rack. I am downsizing to one bike (the other is an airhead also). Within the last five thousand miles I have done the following; Completely rebuilt and balanced the carbs (balanced again two weeks ago), installed a braided stainless steel brake line, new coil, new fork seals and gaitors, new tires, neutral switch, oil pressure switch, new fuel petcock on right side, replaced misc. rubber bits, cleaned and greased steering head bearing, cleaned all electrical connections and applied dielectric, lubed transmission spline, removed and cleaned oil pan and strainer, installed BMW plug on dash. Drives and shifts smoothly. 18 inch front and rear wheels allows a lower seat height than the older airheads. This bike is a monoshock so that means a longer wheel base, better handling and tubless tires. Advantages over pre 1985 R65s. She is great in the twisties and smooth and comfortable on the interstate. I am the third owner having acquired this beautiful machine a little over two years ago. You won't be disappointed.
