Vehicle Detail
1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 4-Speed Convertible with full original documentation and protecto plate. Rust-free, one owner car (I am the second owner and purchased the car to lightly restore it) with only 110,000 original documented miles. This vehicle was special ordered on 1-17-70. Built and assembled in Lansing, MI 2-14-70. Purchased 2-28-1970 at McKelvey-Kessler Oldsmobile, Inc. in Ferguson, MO. Moved car to Ohio in 1970 and then moved car to Colorado in 1973. Car is located in an indoor storage facility in Denver, Colorado. Car has the L-65 Package with the very rare Rallye Wheel option. ROCKET 350 V-8 ENGINE WIDE-RATIO 4-SPEED FLOOR SHIFT TRANSMISSION ANTI-SPIN REAR AXLE HEAVY-DUTY ENGINE COOLING EQUIPMENT VARI-RATIO POWER STEERING POWER FRONT DISC BRAKES CUSTOM SPORT STEERING WHEEL DELUXE PUSHBUTTON RADIO RALLYE WIDE RIM 14x7 WHEELS HEAVY-DUTY SUSPENSION STRATO BUCKET SEATS WOOD GRAIN PANEL TRIM PACKAGE SHERWOOD GREEN/WHITE COLOR This spectacular car looks as it did in the early 1970’s and drives and handles like a lightly driven, used car. It rates a solid 9 interior and exterior. Brand new Sherwood Green paint (3 coats base and 2 coats clear done September 2010) without a scratch or scuff. The original seats are in excellent shape and the crack less front dash has a few glue marks on the driver’s side and two splits in the far right trim. The right door is excellent. The left door has a glued up 1 inch rip by the door knob. The carpet is brand new. The car is 99.9% rust free, and performs like it should. The top is one-year old and looks great. The dual exhaust is new. Brand new front windshield (car had all original glass) and washer pump. The Firehawk raised white letter wheels have 98% tread left. The markings on the firewall are original and indicate the light use of the car. The car could use new weather stripping on the windows. So, with a few fixes here and there, this car could be a solid 10. This rare, 4-speed convertible is a true collector’s item and will be both a pleasure to drive and admire for years to come. Email me for more pictures and copies of protecto plate etc. If you would like a phone call reply, for serious buyers only, please include your number and location in the email. Price is $19.9K and only limitedly negotiable for the right purchaser. We love this car and would like to see its beauty perpetuated for the ages. On Nov-23-10 at 12:32:26 PST, seller added the following information: We recently found out that this car is 1 of 71 made and is much rarer than the 442. Please note that the car has its original heavy duty radiator, master cylinder, and many hard to find hoses. This is a very collectible and prisitine original vehicle that has been loved and pampered (which is rare in the muscle car market).
