Thank you and good luck. ***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A SHARP LOOKING 1970 FORD MUSTANG "H-CODE" MACH I FASTBACK WITH 38K MILES ON THE ODOMETER (BELIEVED TO BE ORIGINAL) THAT IS TURN-KEY AND READY TO DRIVE. VERY SHARP CRUISER THAT WILL BE A LOT OF FUN FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST. FACTORY OPTIONS: Power steering Manual brakes Standard MACH I high-back bucket seat interior Rim-blow steering wheel 14" Styled steel wheels with white letter radials Dual exhaust 351 Windsor 4bbl. motor Automatic FMX transmission Stock 3:00 rear axle gear ratio Front chin spoiler Rear spoiler Rear window slats Vehicle has 38k miles showing on the odometer which is believed to be actual. It comes from North Carolina and it is absolutely stock, with NO modifications other than some servicing parts replaced. Marti report shows the car as being originally blue with blue interior, just like it is now. Motor was an H-code 351 Cleveland 2v from the factory, which at some point was replaced with a 351W 4V that is virtually all stock except for an aftermarket Holley 4bbl. carburetor. Recently i've added all new shocks front and rear, front spoiler, cleaned up the car a bit, fixed the rear brakes and did some tuning on the motor and carburetor for optimum performance and everyday reliability. The car runs/drives great. Interior is in Fair/Good condition with general wear here and there. Seats are nice and look to have been reupholstered not too long ago. Door panels are good with some wear by armrest areas. Carpet is presentable. Dash pad is good overall with a couple of small cracks by center speaker as is common. Headliner is good. Nice steering wheel. Overall a very presentable driver quality interior! Under the hood lies a strong running 351 Windsor 4V motor that is virtually all stock with factory FMX automatic transmission and stock rear end. Starts easily and is very reliable. Good stock power overall and brakes stop WELL. Nice and solid throughout. Steering is nice and nimble. Very fun to drive and you can hop in and drive it wherever you like. It's never left me stranded and always starts up nicely. I've driven it mostly around town here and there and every once in a while on the highway. I would suggest having it gone through before going on a cross-country trip, just to be safe. Being an old car, it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shines up GOOD with good luster for a nice driver. Some minor general wear as you would expect from driving (chips, smalls cratches, touch-ups, scuffs). Panel alignment is pretty decent but not perfect of course. Body is pretty nice and straight with no outer rust issues other than some rot by inner front door corners. Exhaust needs replacing as it's rusted. Rear frame rail extensions need patching/replacing. Floors have small patches near torque boxes, which have also been patched but are in fairly good shape now. Rear inner wheelhouses have been amateurly patched. SOLID TRUNK from what I could see. Not working: horn, clock, perhaps a couple of bulbs may need replacing. Missing: spare/jack, door data plate (but picture of marti report available). Rear window corners have a handful of tiny bubbles on left side. That's about all I was able to notice from my inspection. I am sure there are other tiny details i've forgotten so please keep that in mind, this is NOT a brand new 2011 Honda so please understand it is over 40 years old!!!. It basically needs a good deal of finishing touches and tinkering to get it just the way you like it, depending on what you want to do with it. OVERALL IT'S A VERY SHARP LOOKING AND MECHANICALLY SOUND CRUISER THAT YOU CAN HOP IN AND DRIVE RIGHT NOW. THIS IS A REAL BLUE ON BLUE 1970 MACH I WITH NICE 351W 4V MOTOR AND 38K MILES ON THE ODOMETER! Contact me at (917) 749-4302 cell or e-mail MBOTERASHV@AOL.COM. Auction may be stopped at any time.
