I am selling my 1999 Ford Ranger XLT because I simply have outgrown it, and had to buy a van. I bought it 1 1/2 years ago from a buddy of mine that owns his own business, and is absolutely meticulous. It has high miles, but very well maintained. The transmission is a little funky, sometimes shifts weird. I was told by a couple of Ford mechanics that this is normal for these transmissions. I did install a new speed sensor in rear axle which helped for a long time, but eventually went back to the strange shifting. It doesn't leak or burn any tranny fluid. My buddy told me it had a new tranny put in about 50,000 miles ago, so not sure what's the deal. It doesn't burn or leak a drop of oil, either, and is really a great running truck. Has some rust on front bumper, and on bottom of passenger side door, which I've shown in pictures.
