1967 restored Triumph TR4A for sale Up for auction is this very stunning rust free Black and tan, body off restored Triumph TR4A. The frame and underside are as clean as the top side. It is the independent rear suspension version of the TR4A. It is Pa. Inspected until september of 2011. It has a fresh black base coat clear coat paint job with a new Moss custom ordered tan leather interior. It also sports new carpeting, weather stripping, and roof. The dash has been redone with a nice woodgrain mahogany veneer, and Moss replacement dash pad. This is a wire wheel car with very good condition tires. Front end has been aligned. All the brake lines, and hoses are new. The master cylinder and clutch slave cylinder are also new Cooling system has had the radiator flushed and checked. The water pump,thermostat, and all the hoses are new. All the body mounts are new as well as all the fender mounting hardware. The transmission has been rebuilt, but has a popping out of gear issue when coasting. I had it checked by the rebuilder. He believes the new Moss motors Poly transmission tunnel is restricting the shifter from completely engaging . I will try to to cut back the tunnel before the end of the auction. The clutch disk is new. The front suspension has new bushings, shocks, and tie-rods. The frame has been stripped, primed and painted. The exhaust is in good shape with a very nice tone to it. Wire harness is a new Moss replacement type. There are many other new parts on this car. I have several spare parts that are available if you are interested. They are are listed in another auction. The only needs are new bumpers, and to have some slight windshield wiper scratches buffed out. This is a very respectable Triumph that I really do not want to sell. Finances force me to put it up for auction. Price is based on the NADA average condition price. This car is definitely above average. In my opinion It is a strong eight out of ten. I have built and owned many British cars in the last twenty years, and this is a very nice example of the TR4A.Please check out all the photos.
