This is a beautiful 1965 Mustang resto mod that was a cover page feature in Mustangs and Ford. It a great example of what a resto mod can be. This car was built to be driven anywhere and has approximately $80,000 invested in it and can be bought for less than half of that. It was sold at Barrett Jackson for top dollar a couple of years ago. Engine and transmission: 1992 Mustang 5.0 EFI. The engine is a street friendly 331ci with 500 miles. It was professional built by Adam Montague of ST Motorsports. Run a google search of him to get an idea of his qualifications. It has a Kenne Bell supercharger, TFS heads, TFS stage one cam. It has been dyno tuned by Adam and produces 400 rear wheel horse power and 450 foot pounds of torque. It has an AOD automatic 4 speed that is built to match the motor. The drivetrain has about 500 miles on it. Suspension: Rod and custom Mustang II front end with power rack and pinion. It has power 4 wheel disk brakes. Ford 9 inch Read enad with 3:50 gears Body and paint: The body and paint are great. It still retains its original floor plans. The paint is a deep base coat clear coat. The interior is perfect. It has 1989 mustang seats upholstered to resemble 65 pony seats. The rims and tires are custom made Boyd Coddington Junk yard dogs. They are 18X9 in the front and 18X10 in the rear! With no cutting or tubbing. Extra stuff: It has Vintage air AC. All in all this is a great car, one of a kind. This is the type of car you can really enjoy and drive with all the comforts of a modern car.
