Heavy duty clutch, and 9 oz. aluminum flywheel. Heavy duty stabilizer bars front and rear. Torsion limited slip differential. Aluminum, high-performance radiator, with silicone hoses and hyflo fans. (I also installed one on the air conditioning cooler.) 15 in aluminum wheels with brand new Kumho tires Hard dog role bar Alpine stereo system Rear spoiler Custom after market front clip with custom made air dam and splitter installed and painted by Chapa Racing stripes by Lynn Wilkerson. Chrome gas cap, racing type peddles, 21 degree mirrors, leather seat covers ( the original seats are perfect), shorty antenna, Dynamat sound deadener throughout, California car cover plus full car cover, many books and repair manuals and lots of original parts. I’m 66 years old and have been building cars from the age of 15. I always wanted to do a Miata, so three years ago I found this 2001 with the perfect color, crystal blue (it was only on the 01’s) with only 22,000 miles on it. If you know Miata’s, you know this car was hardly broken in. I built this car for my wife and I to explore the beautiful Texas hill country and go to auto events. It has been used mostly on weekends and has never been raced or abused, in fact I have never had the boost above 6 lbs. With all of these additions this car is as reliable as any Miata on the road and still gets over 30 miles to the gallon on the highway. I n the last three years I have gone through every inch of this car and know that it’s as perfect as a Miata can be. So if you’re looking for a car that is unique….beautiful….fast….and handles like a dream….you’ve found it. People have been told me time and time again that this is the most beautiful Miata they have ever seen.
