FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT OUR COMPANY GO TO: BIGHEMICUSTOMS 1967 PLYMOUTH BELVEDERE GTX HEMI This car started life as a 440 automatic. I have personally owned the car since 1988. It was a complete low mileage car(only 78,000 miles on the title). The car has been through many stages. The first several years the car was mostly stock and I drove the it sparingly. The last several years the car was modified to pro street status. The car was professionally mini-tubbed to the frame rails with a Competition Engineering ladder bar set up installed to a beefed up Dana 60. A full NHRA certified cage was also installed to occasionally race the car. All the work was done by Bodigon Racing. It was a full street car that ran on pump gas and was driven on the street regularly. The last motor that was in the car was a 605 cubic inch HEMI that made 930 HP. The car has run a best of 9.23 in the ¼ mile at 138 miles per hour. The car was at Mopar Nationals every year and is pretty well know in the Fort Wayne area. The car was in some magazines over the years and was also at the big Bodigon burn out party a couple of years. Four years ago the car was completely striped down put on a rotisserie and media blasted. We intended on doing a full rotisserie restoration. Some major work was done to the car including a lot of new sheet metal. TO SEE A VIDEO OF THE CAR RUNNING THE ¼ AT NORWALK IN 2004 RACE TRACK GO TO THIS LINK: http://www.youtube.com/user/BIGHEMICUSTOMS#p/u/10/UxAZ2XKwkoI Here is some of the work we did to the car: Again, the entire car was striped down and put on a rotisserie. The car from top to bottom was media blasted by Pro Strip here in Fort Wayne. The quarter panels were pretty bad and both floor boards needed replaced. I found an Arizona rust free car and used both full quarters, the front fenders and the truck lid. The rear quarters were professionally installed at our shop along with the new front floor boards. Since I wanted to drive the car, we painted the underside with POR 15 under coat for durability. EXTERIOR PARTS: The car currently rolls on dolly wheels mounted to the frame. We have a factory K member and an 8 ¾ rear with super stock leaf spring to make the car a roller. I have a new windsheild and all of the glass. We have some of the exterior parts but most of them were in poor condition and had been sold. Most of the parts for this car are remanufactured ( including tail lights, door handles, trim, ect)….we were maybe going to find a good parts car to take parts from as well. INTERIOR PARTS: We still have the dash and back seat…both were modified to fit in the car. Some interior pieces come with the car but most were missing or in poor shape. They do remanufacture most of the interior parts or a parts car would be nice. Ask questions and check out the pics. Remember this is a perfect rust free project car that was professionally done by our shop and will need very little prep for paint. The underside is perfect. Don't forget we can also finish the car for you or help you with your restoration project. Please look at the pictures and ask questions. There is a clear Indiana title. BIG HEMI CUSTOMS, INC.
