For your consideration is a 1981 VW Rabbit diesel pickup truck.The truck is in overall good condition for it age. Structs towers is good and floor pans is good.This truck came from Oklahoma and did not starting using it till 06/10 and PA state inspection is good till the end of 06/11.Power train is 1.6 diesel with 4 speeds manual transmission.Have recent brake works done.Truck also have new head, head gasket, water pump, alternator, timing belt with new idler, glow plugs and injectors.I have been getting 48-52 miles per gallon.True mileages is un know due the the speedometer stuck at 135,000, I was to guess it somewhere between 150k-200k.Since this truck came from Oklahoma it does have some hail dent on hood and cab, at least they don't have road salt as they do in PA.It does come with ac but I take the compressor of it because the 2 bolts that hold the compressor broken off in the bracket, I never have time to take it out and replace the bolts but compressor do come with the truck.Truck does not come with radio and the dash is crack and have a carpet dash cover go over it.Truck run and drive good.I may cancelled the auction at any time due to the truck being listed locally for sale.
