1977 Oldsmobile Cutlass w/Hurst T-Tops. Here's what I know: Olds made a Hurst edition in 1976, but not in 1977. However, Olds had left over T-Tops which could be ordered on the '77. Very few cars were ordered with the Hurst T-Tops and 403 motor. This has both. It has an AT, PS, AC, AM/FM w 8 track player, bucket seats, center console, and lots of Hurst upgrades. I bought the car as a project. I like this body style. The car had sat for some time on the side of a house. I didn't know anything about the Hurst options, just that I felt it would be a nice car when finished. There is still some work to do. It does run and drive. The previous owner wanted to clone it into a Hurst or make it a tribute to the Hurst and really added a lot of parts over the years. I'm not an expert but from what I learned from others and online it looks like this car has a lot to offer and will be very nice when completed. The guy I had lined up to do the work ended up moving. The car is sitting in covered parking at my dad's. I've had some other projects come up and am letting this one go. It is my car. The title is in my name. Email me if you have questions and I will do my best to answer them. Thank you. The Bad: AC is not cold. Dry rotted seats. T-Top gaskets are bad. (I have not taken them off because I didn't want to until I had new gaskets to install) Rust around rear window where the gasket and trim have been removed. Rust in trunk. Surface rust on rocker panels. Dash has cracks. The Arizona sun can be harsh. The Good: Runs. May need a tune-up. Drives and shifts. Glass good. No cracks in the T-Tops. Lots of parts from the '76 Hurst edition. Rocket 403. Straight body. Good wheels. Ready to be finished. Paypal for the deposit only. The remainder needs to be cash, check, money order, or cashiers check. I can hold the car for a few weeks while the buyer arranges for shipping.
