I have a 1967 International Scout 800 with a 5.0L V8. The motor is an International motor and I believe it is the original. The motor runs really strong and has never given me any problems. The Carb was rebuilt a little over a year ago and works excellently. The transmission is a 4 on the floor with a granny gear. It gets up and goes well and can do 75mph on the freeway. When it is in 4 low it will climb anything, this Scout can go anywhere! It is a bit noisy at speed, but that is due to the off road tires. The interior has been sprayed with a rhino liner and the seats were redone to match the exterior. The whole car was repainted 2 years ago and the paint looks great. There are a few small chips and one crack in the paint, but over all it is a 9 out of 10. When we resprayed the car we replaced the rear quarter panel as well. I replaced the tires recently and they have less than 100miles on them, I chose a 31in tire to insure clearance and make sure it did not rub.. I also had the A/C refilled and it works great. It is an aftermarket A/C system, but it fits well and blows ice cold. The Scout also has twin gas tanks, both have been replaced with plastic tanks and work well. If you are looking for a Scout, then look no further this is the real deal and you will not find a better put together truck. The Scout is in unbelievable condition and I hate to see her go.
