1986 Honda ATC 250R

Just in time for the east coast snow season – and up for sale is an absolutely perfect condition, very low hours 1986 Honda ATC 250R that has all stock OEM parts on it, right down to the tires, grips and handlebars, and all of which are in really good shape. I am starting the bidding at $1 and hope that the price will go where I need to be. I have the bike advertised locally as well. If you are into ATC’s, then you know how hard clean ones are hard to find, especially on the east coast. I bought this ATC in 2004 and rode it all of one time in a snow storm. It is a low hours ATC 250R, and it has sat in a friends garage since I got it. I have started it a few times, maybe 1-2 times a year. Always starts and runs fine. It is in really, really good shape and has no issues that I am aware of. It has all of the goodies, even the little helmet holder on the forks. The ONLY non OEM item on it is the rear grab bar. All parts, plastic and bodywork are OEM on this bike and have no rips, tears or blemishes. There are some light scratches but nothing big or deep. They should come right out with a little use of that PC1 Plastic renew stuff. I am pretty experienced with these bikes and this is one of the nicest i have come across, and hence was the reason i bought it. It is not totally perfect, but you can make it perfect real easy and with a little elbow grease, as the parts are all there. I would call the condition of this bike barn fresh - all it needs is a good cleaning with a powerwash and it should look and run totally mint. Even the tires are stock and have about 80% of the tread, or more. I had bought it and was going to have Vintage Motorsports restore it to absolute perfect condition, but I never had the cash, and once I moved to the west coast, I lost the interest in this project. When I bought this bike, I had it delivered to Mike at Vintage Motorsports, so he is familiar with the machine and has seen it as well. SHIPPING: This sale is for Pickup only. That means that you (the buyer) must handle every detail of picking up this bike. The bike is located in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, which is about one hour (south) from Boston.
