You are bidding on a 1967 MGB as shown. I am selling this, as well as several other vehicles, for my parent in-laws. I started dating my wife in 1985 at which time this car (as well as all the others) sat exactly where they are now sitting...they have not moved. This car sits under a carport on a blacktop pad, under a cover. The family is not able to locate the transferrable registration at present but if it shows up I will indicate as much. Years ago I recall looking at the motor and can attest that it is complete and original from the air cleaners to the oil pan...I cannot get the hood open now as the cable is stuck and I am not going to force it and break something so it is sold as you see it...plan on a rebuild and if it is not stuck consider yourself lucky...at least it has been kept out of the weather. A woodchuck burrowed under the barn next to the left front tire and scooped dirt against it as shown, so while it might appear that the car is sinking I assure you that is not the case...it's just a little furry varmint doing what they do best. This car appears to have had a re-paint in the past and I cannot tell you a great deal about it. My father-in-law purchased it in the very late 70's or very early 80's and I don't think he ever licensed it....just parked it a long long time ago. It will need a lot of clean up and work on the drivetrain as evidenced by the pictures of the undercarriage. I have yet to move it and I have not cleaned it up...it is as you see it.....a good start for a restoration and selling to the high bidder without reserve. You may schedule an appointment and come take a look...it is located in Penn Yan, NY 14527 and I will make the arrangements but just to clarify again...it will sell to the high bidder...period, no buy-it-now, no early sales, it is not "advertised elsewhere" as often claimed by other sellers......it goes to the high bidder...this is carved in stone.....enough said.
