This Dodge Dart Sport is a 318 V-8 with an automatic transmission. I am listing this car for a friend. The motor doesn't knock, smoke, or any of that, starts, runs, shifts, and stops very well, body is very tight feeling, doors, etc. It has very good tires, but I did notice a small hole in the exhaust pipe. The car is brown outside, off-white inside. To begin with, I am not Barrett-Jackson, but I have been a car guy for 40 years, a Mopar guy for 35 years, anyway, through my eyes, this is a very nice Dodge Dart Sport. I would rate this car a 8.5 out of 10. It has spent much of its life in a garage, all but the last 3-4 years. It appears to be very original down to the factory markings on the firewall. It has power steering, power disc brakes (front), chrome wheel well moulding, factory air conditioning, (which may need some freeon), and AM radio, fold down rear seat,trunk light, tinted windows, remote chrome sport mirror. The interior of this car is very nice, I noticed one small split maybe a quarter inch long in the drivers seat, and in the back package tray area, the border has come loose, bad thread, the inside rear view mirror needs re-done, or replaced, the rest of the interior, headliner, carpet (some small stains), looks very good with only light signs of wear.The jack has the factory cover which came on the Dart Sport. I cannot tell you all about all the new paint, new interior, and body work that has been done to this little Mopar beauty, because I don't believe there has been any of that. It appears to be very much all original, except for the new spark plugs, and spark plug wires that I installed, new power steering hose, battery, and the tires. It does not appear to have been molested with Tacs, gauges, speakers, amps, etc., very undisturbed looking. At one point in time, someone had trouble with the fusable link wire, so they installed a wire with a fuse in it. The over-all condition is very good, with some signs of wear. I checked all lights, Headlights, hi-lo, left and right turn signals, running and marker lights, and license plate light, and brake lights. The wipers do not work, the motor works, but the nylon bushings in the wiper linkage are bad, the fuel guage is not working, and the air conditioner blows air, just not cold, probably needs a shot of freeon. All the glass on this Mopar beauty is very good condition. The body is in very good condition with a slight dent behind the passenger side front marker light. The paint is in good condition for a 37 year old car. It has some chips and slight scratches mainly on the drivers side, with less marks on the passenger side, but a rusty, bubble in the paint on the rear quarter panel on the passenger side, as shown in the pics. And talking about pictures, I'll be glad to take any other pics. of this car upon request, when they are in this good of shape, we have nothing to hide, also when looking at this car's overall condition, keep in mind its 37 years old. I am sure I have left something out, but I'll be glad to answer any questions best I can. Buyer is responsable for shipping, if you don't intend to buy, please don't bid.
