For Sale is a 100% Electric 2000 Ranger EV ...... This is a OEM vehicle not a conversion .. You can see what they were and why by just running a quick search on wikipedia for an explanation ............. I just finished restoring this one back to life ... I have inspected it and driven it for the last 2 weeks ... I put a Lifepo4 Pack that I have been driving in my personal Ranger EV for the last 2 years with no problems ... I just installed on it the Thunderstruck Motors BMS , Lifepo4 cell protection kit there is 100 cells of the Hi-Power 100AH style ..... I have 16,000 miles of driving on the Lifepo4 ... they are said to last 2 to 3,000 cycles , this means there should be at least another 90 or 100,000 more miles left in them .. the Lifepo4 cells are pretty much a lifetime install if protected and taken care of .......... The care and feeding of a Lifepo4 installed battery pack in a ranger EV is pretty much no maintainance at all other then standard vehicle inspections ........... This one everything works, I checked everything I could think of on this one, it was very well taken care of by the previous owner .. the inside looks like brand new .. there is some wear and tear on the bed of the truck (just means the guy actually used it as a truck) .. the tires are a good 80% + life left , they look brand new to me ....... there is some dings here and there in the truck but it looks great for a 2000 .... I drive one every day, my dad drives one every day and my brother in law drives one every day ... they are our primary mode of transportation .. with the Lifepo4 cells you can expect a range of 60 to 100 miles to the charge ... I live in the hills so I run most of the time about 30 to 40 miles a day and I very seldom have the truck below 50% of a charge ........ I have went 100 miles twice when I first put the pack together on mine testing it .. the regular flat road miles per charge is 80 miles ... in the hills in my area it is 60 miles ........... These are an Amazing Vehicle , No Gas, No tune-ups, No regular Oil Changes, and best of all No Emissions ....... Any questions happy to answer them ......................................
