Up for bid is my 1968 AMC Javelin.I've owned this car for 8 years.Been working on it ever since.Always kept inside.Drove 200-300 miles in the last 7 years.Engine is 401 60 over 9.5 to 1 compression.Factory forged crank and factory rods.Heads redone for unleaded fuel.Cam is comp.cam 280H magnum,also has Harland sharp roller rockers.Edelbrock torker high rise,new holley 700 double pumper.Ignition is Mallory unilite distributor,high performance chrome coil with 8mm wires.Also has 8 quart millidon oiling system with high volume pump and braided steel lines.Exhaust is headers with 2 1/2 full exhaust dual to rear bumper,with chrome tips.Sound extremly nice.At 900 rpm the lope of cam is wonderful.2,000-3,000 miles on engine.Trans is Borg-Warner T-10 close ratio.Clutch is 11 inch Hayes.New Hurst super short throw competion plus shifter.Sticks about 8 inches out of floor.Ihave new rubber boot not installed.New drive shaft and u joints.All new suspension front and rear.Had a rotissorie done on car because floors unibody and entire car was so rust free.I knew this when I bought it.Last winter I put entire car back together,only drove it fifty miles this summer.Interior has no cracked dash,new carpet,and under padding with foil.Inside door panels are 1968 and very nice,not perfect.Car needs both outside mirrors.The seats are Piere Cardon high backs from 1973,very rare.They are faded but nice.Looks nice with purple outside.All new seals for trunk and door.All glass is good,very small scratches.A few small things need to be done with the car.Car also has power steering,power disc brakes and alot of things I know I'm forgetting.The paint is a deep metalic purple,epoxy primer base coat clear coat.Napa wanted a thousand for the paint and clear coat.If interested you can call or email me with any questions.My number is 715-762-2182.I realize this is a big investment.PLEASE DON'T BID IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO PAY!!!!!
