If you are not sure as to the translation of that wonderful old Latin phrase, it is "Let the buyer beware". This Jimmie is being sold for a small community bank in eastern Missouri. The Jimmie was initially towed in. It had a flat tire which we had patched. We have not had it evaluated by a Mechanic. We note that Left rear bumper is dented and torn. There are multiple body dings, scratches and some significant dents in the front doors. The windshield is obviously broken and in need of replacement. There is no jack nor spare tire. Driver seat back adjustment lever missing and the glove box latch is broken. The rear defroster wire broken off back glass. Finally, the stock radio was removed and there is a hole in the dash where a radio once resided. On the good news side of the sheet, there are no illuminated warning lights (idiot lights). The 4-wheel drive appears to be fully functional. The electric locks and windows all work, and the tires are in fair condition. The Jimmy runs and shifts fine. Depending upon distance, you could concieveably drive this car home, but I think you would want to consider an oil change and other maintenance issues at your earliest opportunity. The interior is worn, there are some thin spots in the upholstery, and a couple of burns in the back seat. This car was driven by a smoker. The interior cleaned up nicely including the rear cargo area. This Jimmie is either the beginning or the end of a project, depending on what you bring to the party.
