Vehicle Detail

Original, unadulterated Silver Shadow. Southern car, never driven in rain or bad weather. No rust or rot. All power, all modern conveniences, leather seats, auto transmission, and A/C. Only 4 owners. The car was purchased in Palm Beach in Aug. 1971, then moved to Virginia where I purchased it in 1990. I have all the original paper work such as manual, warranty card, owner card, etc. in their original cover (as shown in one of the photographs). I have driven the car less than 1000 miles (to and from special events) up to about 5 years ago, when the car was stored and has not been in use since. The car has always been pampered and garaged, except now that it sits under my car port. Interior is in good condition. Wood in excellent condition. Instruments are all present and in good order. Leader is in good shape, except a minor imperfection in the corner of the back seat. The headliner is in good shape except a minor hole. The body is rust free. Undercarriage is rust free. Chrom is good except a few surface blemishes on the bumper. I have some maintenance records from previous owners. You are more than welcome to inspect the car (serious bidders only, please). On Nov-08-10 at 12:17:35 PST, seller added the following information: Interesting & Important First Owner: As I had indicated, I am the 4th owner of this car, and have the original owner's information and Rolls Royce issued plate. The Original Owner was Bertha U. Abess, the wife of Leonard Abess who founded the Miami based City National Bancshares, currently run by their son Leonard Abess Jr. Mr. Abess made headlines in 2009, when he sold his bank and gave $60 Million Dollars of his own money as a bonus to all currrent and previous employees of the bank. President Obama recognized this act of generousity in his State of Union Address, as seen on You Tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCY-Xfij4II This car will be an excellent addition to any collection.
