1985 ford bronco 4 x 4 full size that belonged to my dad. he died in 08 and this truck has sat since then and now my mom wants me to sell it and clean up some of his stuff around the farm. I got the truck started but I was never around when he drove it so i will tell you what I do know and can see. Engine is a 351 windsor that seems to run good. It is carbeurated .Smoked for about 2 minutes when I got it started ( from sitting so long) but quit. It idled good after just a couple minutes and it revs up and sounds good . Transmission I believe is a c6 but not sure. It is a bit sluggish but does go into gears and i drove it around the yard after putting some fluid in it and it gets better the more it is driven.. Windshield has a crack in it but all other glass is good. Windows are electric but front two motors areent working. Rear window went up and down when I hooked it to a battery but needs a new switch wired for it. Truck has some rust spots mainly on drivers side behind door , over rear wheel as well as paint coming of the hood and front fenders. Underside has a little rust but pans and floors seem solid. Dad used this truck around the far and deer hunting trips as well as trips to town. I havent driven on the road so I dont know how it handles. Tires are 32 x 11.50 x 15 .Tires are in descent shape(no dry rottin) with 45-50%tread left and there is a spare. Has swing out mounted spare on tailgate. I dont know if heat and air work,, didnt try them. All the gauges seem to work but it doesnt have much gas in it so I dont know for sure about that one. I think that all the lights work. 4wd was working when he parked it but I remember him saying it needed a new lockout because the front driver side didnt always lock in. Odometer says 43567 but im sure it is more like 143567miles on it. Has the flip up passenger seat for accsess to rear seat and carpet is in fair shape. Has a rip in drivers seat. Brakes may need some attention. They work but sounds like a vacumn leak when you hit the petal. Truck is sold as is where is with no warranty. truck is for sale locally and i reserve the right to end listing if it sales locally. $250.00 nonrefundable deposit due within 48 hours of auction end and balance due in 5 days unless arraingments are made. Truck doesnt leave my place till payed for in full. Starting price is the reserve for this truck.
