*****PLEASE NOTE: I am listing this car with NO RESERVE. Call me at (917) 749-4302 cell. Lets make these bids legit please. These auctions cost money and I don't have time to start chasing you. Thank you and good luck. ***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A GREAT LOOKING 1967 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE GT TRIBUTE WITH STRONG RUNNING 289 V8 THAT RUNS/DRIVES BEAUTIFULLY AND YOU CAN HOP IN AN DRIVE ANYWHERE IN THE COUNTRY. VERY SHARP CRUISER THAT WILL BE A LOT OF FUN FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST. FACTORY OPTIONS: Manual steering Manual convertible top Power drum brakes Standard white bucket seat interior 14" Steel wheels with styled wheel hubcaps and pony center caps Dual exhaust 289ci/200hp 2V motor 4 speed manual transmission GT APPEARANCE PACKAGE ADDED (fog lights, lower body stripe, flip-down gas cap, styled wheel covers) Turn-signal hood Lowered front end Vehicle has 88k miles, which are believed to be original. It is absolutely stock, with NO modifications at all. Formerly a six cylinder, this car now has a strong running 289 V8 and 4 speed manual transmission. The car has had one older repaint that is holding up rather well for a driver, with good shine and luster and decent body lines. Interior is in VERY GOOD condition with general wear here and there. Most interior pieces were replaced within the last 3-4 years (including: door panels, armrests, dash pad, seat covers, inner pillar post covers, sunvisors and center dash section). Seats are nice with general minor wear. Door panels like new. Carpet is older with some wear by driver's side footwell area, but still halfway presentable. Dash pad is nice. Convertible top is in fair/good shape with folding rigid rear window, which was an option (rear trim piece should be replaced otherwise it's still pretty good, but not show quality). Only non-stock item is an upgraded radio and different shifter handle. Overall a very presentable driver quality interior! Under the hood lies the correct 289ci/200hp 2v motor with original intake, manifolds, carburetor, etc, replacing the former six banger, driven by a stock 4 speed transmission, while still retaining the previous drivetrain's rear end. Starts easily and idles great. Good stock power overall and brakes stop WELL. Nice and solid throughout. Steering is nice and nimble. Very fun to drive and you can hop in and drive it cross country if you wanted to, it's that reliable. I've driven it mostly around town here and there and every once in a while on the highway on the way to a cruise night or local show. Being an old car, it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shines up GOOD with good luster for a presentable driver (nowhere near show quality obviously). Some minor general wear as you would expect from driving. Not working: horn, perhaps a bulb or two could use replacing, hood turn signals (not connected), fog lights (not connected). Underside has had patched floorboards and torque boxes, which look presentable but should be redone for show quality. Shock towers look pretty good. Frame rails are solid, except for front passenger side which has had steel plates welded for support. Couple of minor leaks as you would expect from a car this age. Heater core should be replaced (disconnected). Needs exhaust. Inside of the hood has some small rust holes here and there that need patching. Rear inner fender wells have had small patches welded behind rear tires. Battery tray apron has had some patchwork. That's about all I was able to notice from my inspection. I am sure there are other tiny details i've forgotten so please keep that in mind, this is NOT a brand new car obviously. OVERALL IT'S A SHARP LOOKING TURN-KEY CRUISER THAT YOU CAN HOP IN AND DRIVE IT CROSS COUTRY WITHOUT WORRIES. ENJOY AS IS OR RESTORE TO YOUR LIKING DOWN THE LINE. THIS 1967 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE GT TRIBUTE SHOWS NICELY AND DRIVES SUPER NICE. 88K MILES BELIEVED TO BE ORIGINAL AND A GREAT COLOR COMBINATION! ENJOY IT WITH THE TOP DOWN.
