Vehicle Detail

1929 STUTZ BLACKHAWK 6 RUMBLE SEAT ROADSTER VIN: 16739 50 LARGE IMAGES ARE SHOWN BELOW THE WRITTEN DESCRIPTION This auction is for a 1929 STUTZ BLACKHAWK 6 rumble seat roadster. It has dual side-mounts and a golf door and would look similar to the last image that we have shown when it is brought to completion. With the 100th Anniversary of STUTZ upon us this makes for a compelling project to showcase at upcoming events. Searching the internet will give all of the historical information and details about these cars that you would ever want, so we won't take up time or space with that sort of readily available data. This particular vehicle has been stored in a clean dry environment for years. The engine has been run and there are duplicates of many parts such as front and rear fenders, hoods, grilles and many engine parts, just to name a few. The body, rumble seat lid, golf door and entry doors are all fashioned from aluminum. The rest of the parts are steel. There is little to no rust or corrosion visible and the car is easy to roll and steer. We can't confirm that every part necessary to complete this project is present, but the owner claims that most of them are. Many are NOS and boxes of freshly chromed parts are on site. We didn't have the time necessary to unbox all of the bits to photograph them but the bumpers, head light assemblies and grille shell were all readily visible. Our mulitiple pictures attempt to show most of the larger items as well as the piles of boxes and loose parts located with the vehicle. We have 51 images shown below that will best describe the look, style, finish and features of this scarce STUTZ Blackhawk 6 rumble seat roadster. We invite questions and comments and appreciate all who ask prior to placing a bid.
