Up for auction is a 2008 Saturn Sky 2 door convertible, VIN # 1G8MG35X28Y103545. The vehicle is being auctioned by the Garrett County Narcotics Task Force. This is a drug seized vehicle and is being auctioned “As Is” to the HIGHEST BIDDER. The vehicle was seized by the task force on June 1, 2010, and has been kept in a garage since that date. The vehicle was awarded to the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office in October 2010 by court order and we hold a clear title. The vehicle was operable at the time of seizure and has been stored inside our facility since the date of seizure. We have been authorized to sell this vehicle on eBay. Do not ask us to end the auction early or try to offer any amount for a local sale. This auction can not be stopped and it will go to the Highest Bidder. The vehicle is being sold “as is” and the buyer can not hold Garrett County Government, Garrett County Sheriff’s Office, Garrett County Narcotics Task Force or Maryland State Police liable for any misprints, descriptions, authenticity, or defects of the vehicle. There is no warranty for the vehicle. PAYMENTS: You can pay with Certified Check, United States Currency (CASH). These are the only ways payments can be made and we do not accept personal checks. The item must be paid in full within 10 days of the close of the auction. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: The vehicle is being sold as-is. All efforts have been made to accurately describe this vehicle. We offer no guarantees or warranty on current or any future mechanical problems or vehicle condition. The vehicle was privately owned and awarded to us after a drug seizure, and we are not able to certify the vehicle’s condition. Winning bidder must contact the seller within 2 business days from close of auction to arrange an appointment for payment and pickup. Business days are Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. An appointment is necessary for pick-up as times of availability vary. If no contact is made by the winning bidder within 5 business days, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next highest bidder, or dispose of it at our discretion. The winning bidder is required to be present upon vehicle pickup, unless prior arrangements have been made with the seller. Winning bidder is also required to have proof of insurance on the vehicle, in accordance with Maryland Laws, before we will allow the vehicle to be driven away. Insurance will not be required on the vehicle if it towed from our storage facility. Bids from bidders with 0 or negative feedback may be cancelled unless prior arrangements have been made with the seller.
