I have a Rare 1983 Datsun Maxima Diesel with an inline 2.8 liter Nissan Diesel automatic overdrive transmission. No accidents body is straight as an arrow. If you know these cars they are excellent and bulletproof powertrains. The ld28 is a well proven durable and economical diesel. Its all original one owner before me purchased it new and due to illness vehicle sat since 1996. I have run out of time and space. Engine has good compression Ive recently replaced glow plugs alternator had the injectors recalibrated and rebulit injection pump belt is new. I tried to start it and started but now the starter is giving me trouble the starter cranks but gets tired(Needs a new starter) Ive gotton to a point where it starts but needs to be properly timed. I dont have the experience and dont have the time or space. This vehicle needs to picked up as soon as possible and must be towed. The interior is in very nice shape dash is crack free seats are in great shape all plastic pieces are still good Has the voice warning system that tells you if your lights parking brake door keys and fuel lebvel is low features. The maxima has power everything windows all work as do the lights. The rear doors are stuck shut door mechanism needs to be lubricated. Overall with a good detail will look great. The exterior still bears its original paint there is rust on the botoom rocker panel and tiny spots here and there the undercarrige is perfect and rust free. Must sell just the engine alone is worth the low starting price. Use it for parts or revive the beast....
