We've moved and just dont have the space for our trusty '02 F150 XLT anymore, so its time to pass "Rhino" along to someone who can use it. "Rhino" is definitey a beast, it has 4wd and a V8 that is surprisingly good on gas considering its pickup origins. This is the 4th car we've sold on the bay, and everyone whos bought one from us has been very very happy. The reason is because we acutally MAINTAIN our vehicles instead of just saying we do. This F150 has been mechanically maintained extremely well, we use Valvoline synth oil and Royal Purple transmission fluid. This truck runs and shifts like the day it rolled off the assembly line. Please bear in mind that this truck was used for what trucks were invented for... work. It does have some dings, scratches, and small oops but nothing that is horribly disfiguring. It has served us very well. My wife noticed last week that the AC could use a recharge as well as its not blowing as cold as it usually does. The only other minor issue with the truck is the odometer blanks out intermittently (well, rarely, but it does) and then turns back on. Its a problem that a lot of the F150s have and its never bothered us enough to get a whole new instrument cluster... it does work 90% of the time. Not a big deal. On the upside, the truck is pretty loaded with features. It has power locks and windows, CD, towing package with upgraded trans and rear (we never used it to tow anything heavier than a ATV trailer), and everything else that comes wth the XLT trim package. It has very litte rust considering its age and has a Pendaliner bedliner that is tough as nails. PA inspection is good till next summer. Tires still have at least 20k miles left on them, theyre in fine shape. Dont be scared of the mileage, the majorty of the miles came from driving from PA to NJ daily on an interstate. Overall, even though Rhino wont win any beauty contests, it will run and serve its next owner for a long long time. It will make a perfect winter vehicle or a perfect work truck.
