well, here it is folks - my 1988 ford mustang gt. it's got the 5.0 V8 with the stock 5 speed manual transmission. this car has always been adult driven, and never modified. the interior is clean and in fantastic shape for its age. i had dreams of modding it out and making a mean muscle car out of it but i just dont have the time for it and have other toys that take precedent. it's in the way and i need to get rid of it so someone else can put it on the road. unfortunately there are some things that will need to be done to get her road worthy. the radiator was damaged by the tow truck that i had move it so that needs replaced. the car needs mufflers. needs a windshield and probabaly a new battery and tires. there are a few minor surface rust spots. the entire car should be gone over before driving on the street. it ran very well when i drove it and shifted precisely. ive had other fox body 5.0's and this one was the strongest running stock gt ive driven. the car's paint is not so good. i do have a brand new OEM front clip i had planned on putting a cobra grill in and mounting before i had the car painted. again im never going to get around to fixing this car and i hate to see it sitting still. if you are a mustang lover and need parts or a great starting platform to build your dream fox body, this is the car for you. summitt racing has everything this car needs to get rolling quite cheap. i would do it but i have too many other projects that are more important at the moment. for serious questions call josh at 318-934-3171. thanks for looking!
