Drive this cruiser home!! This turnkey vehicle is great for show or go! I bought the car in El Paso, TX three months ago and have worked on "her" ever since. I put in a new healiner, reconditioned the upholstry and installed a new rug. There are new rubber seals on the doors, replaced the vent windows and put on new seals, put on 4 new Coker whitewall tires, installed new 1-wire alternator (been converted to 12 volt) and MSD ignition. There are new lakepipes, dummy spotlights, new windshield and trunk seals, hubcaps, fender skirts, interior door handles and window cranks, thresholds and full dual exhaust system plus glasspacks. I reconditioned the trunk area and installed a new carpet. There is a new sending unit in the gas tank, reconditioned the wind-up clock, and a new rear transmission bushing and seal plus 2 U-joints and a rear trans. mount. This transmission is a 3-speed manual with overdrive that is not hooked up. The previous owner had the 239 Y-Block engine completely rebuilt and bored it out .030 plus installed a '57 2-barrel intake with auto-lite carberator that I've rebuilt. This motor has less than 500 new miles on it. Starts and runs perfectly!
