Vehicle Detail
This is a great car for an ambitious person with a welder and time. All the mechanical/hydraulic/fuel systems have been rebuilt. Good stuff....rebuilt engine, rebuilt brake system, new Sachs clutch kit. New clutch hydraulics. Bad...well...rust. For some reason I did a lot of work to this rusty little bastard. Bottom end of engine was rebuilt before I got car and is in good condition. I put an Isky cam and lifter set in the head. New metal timing gears. Quick rebuild of the carbs was done since the shafts were tight. K&N air filters. New motor mounts. New voltage reg. and rebuilt Bosch gen. NOS Sachs clutch kit was installed. Trans was clean inside so I just drained it and added new fluid. Shifts good. A new Girling reservoir and slave cylinder were on the car when I got it. A new brake booster is on the car. I rebuilt the calipers with new pistons and seals, and Ferodo pads. Rear wheel cylinders were rebuilt with new shoes. All the metal lines were replaced, including the fuel line. Drums are in good shape with plenty of metal, and I have a spare drum. Rear axle was flushed and refilled. Has new KYB GR2 shocks up front, new Monroe shocks on the rear. New ball joints. All glass is good except for a bullseye chip on the pass side of windshield. All doors open, close, and lock well, as well as the hatch. All the lights work. The wipers work, the heater works like it should, dash lights work. Speedo and Odo work. The light under the pass. side of the dash works. Has 4 wagon wheels with new Kuhmo tires. Org. tool kit and spare well liner. Spare is a new 165 Michelin X radial, with sticker on it, on a wagon wheel. Complete interior in fair condition. Has org. floor mats. I have old carpet for a pattern. Org. roof rack. Also has underdash tray and owners manual. Front fenders and valance are fiberglass, in good shape. I have a clear title in my name. Some extra keys, a reproduced copy of the service manuals, and some other paper work. Bad stuff is rust. Floors. Kick panels. Frame rails. It is rusty. It needs floor. Kick panels. Frame work. I did weld up some cracks in the inner fenders. Master cylinder needs to be replaced. I rebuilt it but it still leaks a little. Oh and I'm keeping the battery. Even tho it runs and drives, you can not drive it home! You must tow it from my sight. There are big holes in the floors, and the frame is rusty. I have driven it around town a couple times, and had it on interstate once for a few miles...however, I don't want anyone else doing something dumb in something I sold. So you must tow it! Email any questions. I can take pics of anything you need. Thanks for looking
