You are bidding on a true BARN FRESH 1972 Porsche 914 as shown. This vehicle, along with a Karmann Ghia and a 1976 Jeep J-10 Pickup with 422 ORIGINAL miles have been in storage since 1986 (the Jeep has sat since 1977) . All will be sold here on Ebay with no reserve.So here is the scoop on the Porsche. It is as you see it, the wheels are rusted and do not rotate, the motor is set up and does not turn over, it will need a complete restoration or use as parts. It comes with a clear title, actually a “Transferrable Registration” as NY did not issue “Titles” back then. The clutch cable is broken but it has a new one in the trunk. This was licensed and driven by the current owner back in 86. The tires do hold air. I did not know how to open the engine compartment so I took no motor pictures but can see the motor through the slot in the cowling and it is all there, and it looks all original from the air cleaner to the engine cases. You will need a roll back hauler, or a trailer with come-alongs. This cannot be towed. I do not know beans about this vehicle other than what I have told you, it belongs to my in-laws and I am selling the cars for them as a favor. You are buying this vehicle as-is, where is.
