You are bidding on a true BARN FRESH 1972 Volkswagon Karmann Ghia Convertible. This vehicle, along with a Porsche 914 and a 1976 Jeep J-10 Pickup with 422 ORIGINAL miles have been in storage since 1986 (the Jeep has sat since 1977) . All will be sold here on Ebay with no reserve. So here is the scoop on the VW. It is as you see it, the wheels are rusted and do not rotate, the motor is set up and does not turn over, it will need a complete restoration or use as parts. It comes with a clear title, actually a “Transferrable Registration” as NY did not issue “Titles” back then. The tires hold air. You will need a rollback hauler, or a trailer with come-alongs. This cannot be towed. I do not know beans about this vehicle other than what I have told you, it belongs to my in-laws and I am selling the cars for them as a favor. I managed to pull the right rear bumper support off when trying to move it...it slid right back to it's original location but needs repair now (dammit).
