Vehicle Detail
You are considering a trailered/garage-kept 1973 Porsche 914. No reserve. This car was raced only on Sundays by a middle-aged (oh, I hate that word!) lady. :) Seriously!! The body is in very good condition. The only rust is two quarter-sized spots inside the rear trunk. I have been autocrossing it for about 6 months. Have a title from California. I have not registered it in Nevada. Could be made street legal with a few modification. All work done on the car was by professionals (Beetle Barn, Las Vegas-have $5000 in receipts). This is a nice car-runs great with no mechanical problems. It won first in class during our summer season of racing. We have about $10,000 invested. The pictures were taken today and a few months ago. We must sell due to husband's health. The following has been done: Engine: 1.7 ltr with dual carbs. Engine was completely rebuilt in April 2010. Still under warranty. Cost $2625. Suspension: new Koni yellow adjustable shocks, front sway bar, racing alignment Brakes: new steel lines and hoses, new rotors, pads, new rear calipers, rebuilt front calipers Tires/wheels: new Empi wheels (15"), new Toyo RA1A. Lots of tread left. Also have a set of original wheels and tires. Battery: new one mounted in trunk. Roll cage: 4-pt roll cage and driver's side 2" 5-pt harness Additional: working AM/FM CD radio, new 10' tach w/shift light, lights work, wiper motors inop (but we may have one. It doesn't rain much here :) ), heater duct has been removed, old battery tray has been removed, needs emergency brake cable Sold as is. Buyer is responsible for shipping. $500 deposit due within 3 days, full payment due within 7 days. We accept money orders/cashiers check/cash/paypal. Must clear first. Paypal must be balance or bank transfer as I cannot accept credit cards. Will hold car for 30 days past sale (in the garage). Any questions, please ask!!
