Thank you and good luck. ***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A DROP DEAD GORGEOUS 1968 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE "C-CODE" 289 2V THAT RUNS/DRIVES BEAUTIFULLY AND YOU CAN HOP IN AN DRIVE ANYWHERE IN THE COUNTRY. VERY SHARP CRUISER THAT WILL BE A LOT OF FUN FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST. FACTORY OPTIONS: Power steering Power convertible top Manual brakes Standard black bucket seat interior 14" Steel wheels with styled wheel hubcaps and pony center caps Single exhaust C-code 289ci/200hp 2V motor Automatic transmission Vehicle has 77k miles, which are believed to be original. It is absolutely stock, with NO modifications at all. Original #'s matching drivetrain. The car has had one older repaint that is holding up beautifully, with great shine and luster and great body lines. Interior is in VERY GOOD condition with general wear here and there. Seats are nice with general minor wear. Door panels are good. Presentable carpet. Dash pad is nice. Convertible top is in nice shape with good back window. Only non-stock item is an upgraded radio (I DO HAVE THE ORIGINAL ONE IN THE TRUNK). Overall a very presentable driver quality interior! Under the hood lies the correct C-code 289ci/200hp 2v motor with original intake, manifolds, carburetor, etc, driven by a stock C4 automatic transmission and stock rear end. Starts easily and sounds great with a nice and quiet idle. Good stock power overall and brakes stop WELL. Nice and solid throughout. Steering is nice and nimble. Very fun to drive and you can hop in and drive it cross country if you wanted to, it's that reliable. I've driven it mostly around town here and there and every once in a while on the highway on the way to a cruise night or local show. Being an old car, it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shines up EXCELLENT with good luster for a high-end driver. Some minor genearal wear as you would expect from driving. Not working: horn, perhaps a bulb or two could use replacing. Convertible top motor a bit slow but still works. Underside has had patched floorboards and torque boxes, which look presentable but should be redone for show quality. Shock towers look pretty good. Frame rails are solid, except for front driver's side which has rust that can easily be patched. Could use one wheel cylinder for brakes to be perfect. Couple of minor leaks. Heater core should be replaced. That's about all I was able to notice from my inspection. I am sure there are other tiny details i've forgotten so please keep that in mind, this is NOT a brand new car obviously. OVERALL IT'S A BEAUTIFUL TURN-KEY CRUISER THAT YOU CAN HOP IN AND DRIVE IT CROSS COUTRY WITHOUT WORRIES. THIS 1968 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE SHOWS BEAUTIFULLY AND DRIVES SUPER NICE. 77K MILES BELIEVED TO BE ORIGINAL AND ABSOLUTELY ALL STOCK! ENJOY IT WITH THE TOP DOWN.
