Vehicle Detail

1982 Red Porsche 928 for sale $1800.00 Firm. No negotiations. Buyer pays for his own shipping / transport, etc. I previously had on ebay and changed my mind. I don't have the time to restore now. Car runs and drives, brakes fine. Engine starts right up every time, no smoke from rear exhaust. Car sold as is. No warranty. This car can be a daily driver or a restoration project. Up to you. I am not a mechanic and cannot answer any technical questions. Engine sounds really healthy. 1-V-8 Engine starts right up every time, every weekend when I start it up, sounds great and healthy. 2-No smoke from rear exhaust on start up or when I accelerate. 3-Car Drives and brakes fine. I have just driven in my immediate neighborhood in the past. 4-There is a minor oil leak. I have no idea what it is. A few spots every week or so. 5-Cooling system is great. I leave the car running in the Florida heat and no over heating. 6-Fuses probably need to be replaced and usual 928 electrical gremlins, pass door window, radio, a/c, headight swivel and sunroof do not work. could be the fuses, I have no idea. Dash is rough. You will want a plastic dash cover. 7-I ripped out the floor board carpeting because I was going to restore and the floorboards are sold, no visible rust. 8-Front bumper valence area slightly pushed in. I have no idea why. Maybe in transport it happened. 9-Console in great shape along with headliner. Red paint is not original. Original color appears to have been burgundy red. Although this car could be driven daily I consider this a project car. The car supposedly sat for 10 years in California, according to the previous owner. Other than that I have no knowledge of the history of the car. If I do not sell I will simply keep it in storage for the next 5 years and begin restoration.
