1999 Mercedes Benz Turbodiesel for sale. It has Bose sound, a 6-disc CD changer, side airbags. There is also an aftermarket XM radio in the car which will stay with it. This car has 225k miles on it but you wouldn't know that until you saw the odometer. This car has plenty of life left in it. Absolutely everything works. This has been my commuter and long trip car every day since I bought it with a little less than 125k on it. It is an absolute dream to drive. I'm 6'1" 225lbs and it is one of the few cars I can spend hours in without getting sore or stiff. Its pickup is amazing for such a big car, and it averages a rock solid 30 +/- 2 mpg. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety analyzed fatal car collisions in the United States between 2000 and 2003 and rated the W210 E-class as the safest car in the US (eclassbenz.com, 2010). Own this shining example of modern luxury and economy for less than 1/3 of what new Honda Civic would cost you. Carfax says this car was involved in an accident, but I have no idea where. It drives and handles straight and has a clear, regular title. This car has always been given the best of everything, to include synthetic oil and filter changes every 5k miles with oil up to MB 229.1 or better standards. I typically use Amsoil 5w40 European Car formula. It has also had the transmission fluid and filter completely changed with MB recommended parts and MB fluid at 130k and 180k. It gets a new fuel filter every 10k and a prefilter every 15k. Some seals are viton but not all. I have the viton seals for the whole fuel system. There are no leaks or loss of power. In fact, the ECU was reprogrammed by speedtuning USA at 160k and the performance is scary good. It has run on biodiesel, but never higher than B50. If not on biodiesel, it gets Power Services fuel additive when on ULSD. It has a K&N air filter that I check every 10k and service as needed. Other recent regular maintenance includes: New high side A/C fitting and lower control arm bushings at 165k. A/C blows cold and heat blows hot. New Bosch Duraterm glow plugs at 165k. Still starts fast and works great. Coolant flush, new water pump, new viscous fan clutch, and new thermostat at 175k. New BF Goodrich Traction T/A tires at 208k. The car has a really sporty response with these on. New brake rotors and pads along with braided stainless steel lines at 210k. I checked and re-packed the bearings then. New engine vibration shock and spring at 215k. New motor mounts at 220k. I have a transmission mount but haven't put it in yet. If you want, I will before you buy it. If not, I'll give you the part. I also have a set of new end links and sway bar bushings that I'll give you. The body is straight as you see in the pics. The car gets waxed at least once every 3 months. Paint does show some wear and tear as expected for this mileage. There is a small, nickel-sized spot of rust forming on the right rear passenger door (pictured). There are two cracks on the dash from the sun. The front seats show wear, but there are no tears and the support is great. Both front seats are heated. The radiator fan shroud is missing.
