Here's a rare find, a 1958 Rambler Rebel Custom with Pushbutton automatic, dual exhaust, Back up lights, just Under 55,000 original miles. This car is in need of a minor cosmetic restoration, the glass is in real good shape, One wiper blade scratch on the windshield. Car received one repaint ( Only the Bottom top is Original Paint) with enamel paint which is cracking on the hood and the passenger side fender. The car is very straight, there is some surface rust where the car's front end was exposed to the sun over the years, A couple of small spots of bondo on the corners of the hood (Comes with extra hood and deck lid, extra hood has some rust on the lip). Front bumper needs rechromed but it is straight. Lights and Blinkers work, Brake lights do not. Needs tires, driver side tie rod is a little worn and may need replaced. Orignal interior, front seat needs recovered, headliner needs replaced, Very nice dash, Original Radio still works. Car runs excellent, smokes a little white smoke until it warms up a little, but it cranks each day without even touching the gas pedal. You can stand outside the car and crank it. The transmission shifts good. The trunk is solid. There is some rust through on the driver side floorpan, can be patched. The rear door latches need oiled up, sometimes they catch, sometimes they don't. This car draws a Crowd anywhere I go and it has drawn people to it from the 55 chevy's and mustangs at the local car shows. You don't see very many of these around especially in this good of condition. This car does not have a title, not required in the State of Georgia on pre 1986 cars. Will come with a legal bill of Sale, recent Tag receipt, recent Georgia Registration, all in my name. Most states will issue a title with this, I suggest that you check with your local MVR before you place a bid. Payment is required in full within 5 days of auction end, Car should be picked up promptly thereafter. Sold as is where is, transport is to be provided by the buyer.
