2000 Ford Focus zts model. 4 door sedan 5spd manual tranny. Car has 142,629 miles on it and will be occasionally driven until sold. This car has an excellent sounding 60watt 4 speaker single CD stereo. The Good: Newer federal 195-60hr-15 tires. Put on at about 119K they have another 10,000 left in them easily. Car just passed PA. state inspection in June and is good till 6-11. I've waxed the car at least 3x a year, every year since I've owned it. (original owner) Check the pics, the paint really shines for an 11 year old car. alloy wheels are starting to lose their clear coat finish but still look nice. Newer KYB Struts and shocks (all replaced at the same time) at 112K New timing Belt and water pump at 110K per Ford's scheduled Maint. recommendation. New DieHard Gold battery in August. New Alternator replaced at 141K (replaced at McCaffery's Ford in Langhorne, Pa.) Newer cyclinder head rebuild with fresh vales at 123K Car has over 2800.00 dollars in it in last two years with this maintenance alone. New wiper blades. Older, but still good weather tech floor mats. Fresh Mobil 1 full synthetic 5w-30 oil. Good till 145K. Trans Mount replaced along with rear motor mount within past year. A few Nicks in the paint, but that is expected with a car that is almost 11 years old. Nothing worth mentioning check the pics. This car is nice. The Bad: Air bag light and abs light are on. Ford wants 342.00 to fix the airbag module. Don't know about the ABS light? Ford says airbags may or may not deploy in a collision. Car has I believe 3 motor mounts total, and it sounds like another one has to be replaced. They aren't expensive though, last one cost me 107.66 for parts and labor But I'm not a mechanic, it just sounds like the same vibration that occurred when the last one was replaced. DOES NOT BURN OIL. Between oil changes( I change the oil every 5000 miles, Mobil 1 full synthetic only) it may consume at most less than half a quart. Does leak power steering fluid. I typically add about 4 ounces a month. Car had front bumper and hood damage 5 years ago from an accident but expertly repaired at Quality Auto Body in Feasterville, Pa. The clutch feels just as good as the day I got the car, I'm the original owner. Hard to believe it's original but it is and feels fine. The car shifts great and the manual gearbox moves with no issues at all. A/C blows ice cold and has never needed a recharge. Heat works great, as does the stereo system and CD player. Car has cruise control, power mirrors on both sides with adjustable steering wheel. Both drivers side and passenger seats have new seat covers on them. Seats front and back are very clean. I just bought a 2008 camry and don't need this car anymore. If your handy and can fix the motor mount yourself (if that's what the problem is) this would be an excellent car for a college student, 2nd car to run around in etc.....great on gas, last trip I averaged 31.8 mpg. I would not hesitate to drive this anywhere. There are no warranties on this car. SOLD AS IS. All transfer fees are buyers responsibility. We are not negotiating the final bid price.
