Vehicle Detail
1956 Ford F-100. Complete restoration in 1992. 312 V8 from 56 T-Bird. Lots of extras: three deuce intake, 4 barrel intake, 2 barrel intake, auto transmission (current), & 3 speed manual amongst many others. Haven’t driven much during last 10 years. Wooden bed slats would need touched up. Won’t take much to get on the road again, though. Great deal for condition. On Oct-19-10 at 17:40:00 PDT, seller added the following information: 1956 Ford F-100. Complete restoration in 1992. We don't have more pictures to offer at this time. Photo in ad was taken in 1996. We haven't driven the truck for a few years (at least five), but it has been garage kept since 2000. The body is excellent. No rust at all, but some pitting around the chrome wheels. We replaced all the cab corners in 1992, and some body filler was used to feather the rebuilt corners into the body. We did the paint job ourselves, and we are novice, so it could use a more professional job - both doors seem a bit hazy in the right light, but everything else turned out well. No chrome bumpers or grill. The motor is a rebuilt 312 y-block. We have two more y-blocks that will get thrown in. 312 was strong and working quite well. I have auto transmission in it right now, it does leak some oil around the bell housing, but we will still throw in the original three speed. Lots more extras get thrown in: ram headers, 4 barrel intake, 2 barrel intake, and 3-speed steering column. Motor and both transmissions worked well when we ran them. Seat was redone, but I'm not sure if mice have gotten into it - though I don't think so. All instruments work. Headline was replaced in 1992 is is like new. The chrome wheels are starting to pit, and tires would need checked for dry rotting, though, they appeared good to me the last time I checked this past summer. Currently, lots of dust on the truck. New bed and tailgate in 1992, new metal rear fenders, new fiberglass running boards, and new fiberglass front fenders. Wooden bed slats would need touched up (refinished b/c the schlack is peeling) I'm in the military in Michigan, and currently the truck is in Clarence, PA.
