Offered for sale is a ONE OWNER 1966 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 convertible. This car was purchased new by my family and was my step mother’s car. It has 127,000 miles on it and has spent many years in my father’s garage in Northern Ohio and in my garage since 2007. Minor body work and new paint job done 3 years ago. Convertible top is in good condition. This car is ready to be driven and shown off to the neighbors and used in your local parades. The car runs great and has been well maintained. It has a powerful 425 cubic inch V8 with a 2 barrel stock carburetor. About 10 years ago the engine was completely rebuit with stock components with the cylinders bored 30 thousands over stock. The heads were milled, valve guides and valves replaced witha harder version, able to withstand unleaded gasoline. The carburetor was rebuilt. Other recent work has included a) brake job including replacement of slave cylinders b) new shocks and springs c) new fuel pump d) electronic ignition was added (the old components are provided with the car) e) new muffler and connecting piping f) coolant system flush g) new thermostat h) water pump No outstanding issues or repairs. Looking for a new owner that will enjoy and care for this classic 60’s ragtop that has been in my family since new.
