I have a 1947 2 ton truck. The body is in awesome shape!!! It is in by far the best condition i've seen a truck in for years. It has one spot on the drivers door where the mirror mounts that has rust and one spot on the drivers rear quarter that has small rust spots. The cab, fenders, doors and all are in great shape. This would make a great rat rod cab and/or hotrod hauler. Some folks have told me that it's the first year for a "3 Man cab" i'm not sure if it is, but they said that it's more rare if it is. Maybe you know but no promises. I do have a clean title in hand so no mess there. I bought it strictly to resell so all I know is what the farmer told me. It runs and the bed goes up and down. The brakes don't work, however I couldn't get the top off the master cylinder to see if it has oil...... I didn't want to tear up more trying to get it open just to see. It's been sitting for 3 years and with just a little gas and a new battery it started right up. I'm pretty sure it's a 250 inline 6. It has been converted to 12V and has 2-speed axle. I have added a few pics of the rust spots I'm talking about. As you can see they arn't bad at all. A Also, I have a 51 chevy 1 1/2 ton or 2 ton thats in better shape than this truck. The bed is in great shape, it runs and drives, new brakes. You could drive this one home!! I have pics and will be posting it next week.
