This is a 1965 Dodge W300 Powerwagon 4X4 Fire Truck. This unit was in service fighting fires until our new 2011 truck arrived recently. Unit has a 500 gpm front mount Barton/American pump. The unit is in good condition for its age and fully operational. Has a 300 gallon booster tank, There are two spots of rust showing on the passenger side rear wheel well that are visible in the pictures. The unit is being sold as is with no warranty. The unit does not have the original engine in it. It has the same type of engine that came in the truck, but is not the original. It is a 318 commonly referred to as a Y block. The transmission is a 4 speed new process manual. The truck is being sold with the 3500 watt generator, telescoping 500 watt light, 4" hard suction, 2 1/2" hard suction, 20' extension ladder, 5 sections of older 11/2" hose, 1 section of 2 1/2" hose 1 dry chem and 1 CO2 extinguisher but both are out of hydro testing. Truck comes with booster reel, code 3 XL light bar, federal siren, wooden pike pole. Truck has 33x12.5 R16.5 LT M+S tires with about 3/4 tread left. This unit is owned by the fire dept and is being sold by them. Shipping is responsibility of the buyer. Payment is by cash or certified check only and truck is to be pick up at the New Pittsburg Fire Dept. This unit would make a good addition to a small dept. looking for a brush unit or the serious collector of Dodge Power Wagons. Unit is in good condition and ready to fight fires or parade or go to car shows. Truck can be viewed by appointment at the Fire Dept.
