This sedan is old, but very reliable. I love this car, but it's priced to sell. I wouldn't be selling except that my in-laws gave us their station wagon to take care of our baby. I've put a lot of money in it over the years, so it runs well. It passed a California smog check in June, and I had the fan belt, oil pad, water pump, and battery replaced last year. In 2008, I had the A/C overhauled, and I put on new tires in 2006 (they have about 19K miles on them). Additional repair records available for your inspection. It's a decent-sized sedan, with passenger and driver's side air bags, so is a lot safer than most economy cars. There are some surface cosmetic problems. It has about 101,000 miles, and some scratches and dings, but no dents -- also, my ignition key once broke off in the driver side door, so you have to use the broken ignition key to unlock, and a new key I had made to drive. There is a faint stain in the left rear passenger seat from when a plant fell over once. There is a decent cassette-radio combo, although the previous owner cracked the speaker housing in the driver side door -- though the speaker still works. I am the third owner -- though EBay says I am the 4th owner, I think they are counting the bank that re-po'ed the car from the first owner. The second owner, a legal secretary in Palo Alto, CA, owned the car before me. I have owned the car from 1999 to the present. If you arrange to get a pre-purchase inspection through EBay or independently I will drive the vehicle to the mechanic of your choice in Berkeley or Oakland, CA. I got a thumbs-up after such an inspection and 1999, and got terrific results. Please perform due diligence before bidding. On Oct-18-10 at 12:12:05 PDT, seller added the following information: I am going to re-smog-check the car tomorrow, October 19, since in order to transfer ownership to a new owner, the CA DMV requires me to re-smog-check the car, as the last smog check was more than 90 days ago (about 100 days, much to my frustration). This is a $65 fee that you will be able to avoid -- for the first 2 years of ownership, ;) On Oct-19-10 at 13:44:47 PDT, seller added the following information: The car passed another smog inspection this morning (10/19), in accord with DMV regulations that buyers must supply proof of a smog inspection within the 90 days before sale. I'll be providing a certificate of smog inspection to the winning bidder along with the title.
